Colors!

Colors are B-E-A-UTIFUL! They are EVERYWHERE & on EVERYTHING! We live in a world filled with beautiful colors all over! What would our lives be like without color? Blah! Although there are many, many colors, we will start off with learning about just a few colors we see everyday...

If you look around you may see that we've got RED stop signs on many streets around the United States, YELLOW dandelions in our grass, BLUE skies, and GREEN trees and plants almost EVERYWHERE we go!

There are many different shapes we can find just by looking around us! We will start with four basic shapes: Triangle, Square, Rectangle, & Circle

Triangles have 3 sides & 3 angles
Squares have 4 sides that are all the same size

Rectangles have 4 sides with 4 right angles

Circles are closed curves that take the shape of an O









There are shapes EVERYWHERE!! We've got triangle rooftops, square brownies, rectangle beds, and circle pizzas!! Now you go out there and look for as many shapes as you can find!!
